Only you and the person it’s for. Before the day, they can see that something is waiting and when it opens — but not what it says. Our privacy policy explains the details.
How will they know it opened?
On the day, it opens by itself and we let them know. They can read it on their Time Capsules page.
Do I need a Life Story or a membership?
No. A free account is all you need. A Time Capsule is a one-time $49.
I bought a Life Story. Where is my free capsule?
It’s waiting for you. When you seal your first Time Capsule, it costs nothing. Every capsule after that is $49.
Can I leave more than one?
Yes. Leave one for every grandchild, or several for one person. Each one is $49.
